Regus launches new business centre in Gurgaon; offers a faster and affordable way to do business

Gurgaon, Aug 22, 2013: Regus, the largest provider of flexible workplaces globally, today opened a new business center in Gurgaon, the country’s commercial hotspot. The new centre will provide turnkey access to businesses of all sizes and help satisfy strong demand for business-ready space in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The new centre, at Spaze I-Tech Park, is Regus' fifth location in Gurgaon and ninth in the NCR. Employers can use these locations to access high-quality workspace without having to lose time setting up an office. As with Regus' other 40-plus locations in India, those companies can use the new Regus centre to rapidly grow their headcount and footprint on demand - without having to commit to long-term fixed leases or consume working capital upfront.

Inaugurating the new center Mr. Sahil Verma, Chief Operating Officer – India, Regus, said, “From start-ups to multinationals, businesses want a presence in the NCR. There's already been huge job creation in the region and activity will increase further when the Regional Rapid Transit System becomes operational.

"With the expansion of the Regus network in Gurgaon, more firms can set up here without the burden of property ownership and management. We offer a presence to suit all budgets - from virtual offices to physical workspace. With less time and money spent on fixed property, there's more to put into the business. That will really help enterprises benefit from the opportunities, infrastructure and talent pool here", he added.

Gurgaon is seeing robust activity across the IT, ITES, BPO, residential, retail and industrial sectors, and there's been rapid job creation in 2013. Regus expects its new centre to attract both local entrepreneurs/SMEs and international companies with a broad sectoral mix.

Whilst many customers using the Regus Sohna Rd centre as their first port of call in Gurgaon, it will also help existing companies to offer greater flexibility to their staff. The centre offers workers and business travelers a convenient base close to multinationals such as Xerox, McKinsey & Co, UNINOR and NDTV Worldwide, as well as good hotels, shopping and entertainment.

The launch in Gurgaon is part of a rapid Regus expansion in India, as it enjoys strong demand for its flexible, turnkey workplaces. It currently has over 45 business centres across 12 cities in India, with more projects in the pipeline.
