Regus Edmund House Opens for Business
Global workspace provider Regus has opened the doors to its ninth location in Birmingham. This latest opening is further evidence of Regus’ UK network expansion as demand for flexible workspace continues to increase.
The centre occupies two floors of Edmund House, located on the corner of Newhall Street and Edmund Street. The site houses 280 workstations and offers a diverse range of flexible workspace options for businesses and professionals.
- Meeting rooms bookable by the hour
- 90 high-specification offices, of varying sizes
- A drop-in business lounge
- Virtual Office services
A large, open- plan co- working space will also be opening at the centre later in the year, to cater to the growing number of professionals in the city adopting a more collaborative way of working.
Regus expects the facility to be popular with a wide range of users including local small businesses, start-ups and remote workers as well as national firms opening satellite offices and global businesses establishing a footprint in the local area.
Richard Morris, UK CEO, Regus, comments: “We’re delighted to announce that our ninth Birmingham location is open for business. The city is a true business success story and a prime spot for firms looking for a well-connected base in the Midlands, so it’s only right that it features in our UK expansion plans.
“The opening of our new centre is testament to the city’s need for cost-effective workspace that matches today’s flexible, modern workforce. We know that more and more people are working flexibly, instead of the traditional 9-5 in the office, and we are seeing month-on-month growth in interest in flexible working options which provide a more agile alternative to fixed offices.”
Regus now has nine locations in Birmingham, including the innovative Regus Express business lounge which opened at Birmingham Airport in October 2014.
