Regus Expands in Virginia with its First Norfolk Center

NORFOLK, Va. - (Nov. 27, 2012) – Following an expansion earlier this year in Stafford, Regus, the world’s largest provider of flexible workplaces, continues to help businesses looking to take advantage of opportunities in Virginia with the opening of its first full service business center in Norfolk at 999 Waterside Drive.

Regus’ growth represents a growing trend among today’s businesses.

“Our customers run the gamut – from start-ups to Fortune 500s and come from all industries,” explained Donna Scott, Regus’ Regional Vice President. “The common thread among all of them is their growing preference for flexible working and the expectation of working anywhere at any time.”

Rising in popularity, Regus’ model provides its customers with a range of workspace options, including fully equipped offices and virtual offices as well as meeting rooms and business lounges. Terms are flexible allowing clients to choose the amount of space they use and the length of time they stay.

Regus has more than 15 locations throughout the state and has plans to further expand its portfolio in the U.S. in the coming months as the company adds locations to fulfill the needs of a shifting business landscape.

Norfolk’s business clusters, including military and defense, bio medical and the maritime/transportation sectors are growing and prospering largely in part to the city’s infrastructure and geographic location along the Mid Atlantic. With a large assortment of projects in the pipeline, Norfolk is attracting new companies and with no upfront capital investment Regus presents a safe and affordable way to enter or grow in the market.

“With more than 500 locations across the country, our customers often use our network while traveling on business to stay connected and productive,” said Scott. “Interest in our Norfolk space in robust and we look forward to helping area businesses succeed.”
