Regus’ First Decatur Location Offers Professionals a Local Business Hub

DECATUR, Ga. - (Dec 5, 2012) – With the expectation of improving productivity and minimizing risk, businesses and professionals in the greater Atlanta area are stepping up demand for alternative work sites. Regus, the world’s largest provider of flexible workplaces, has experienced substantial interest in the region and today announced the opening of its first full-service business center in Decatur at One West Court Square.

“Businesses are recognizing the vast potential of flexible working and are looking for options that will shorten their commute and enable them to be more efficient,” said Donna Scott, Regus’ Regional Vice President. “Approximately sixty-five percent of Decatur residents commute to Atlanta or other nearby suburbs and our new centrally located facility gives them the freedom to work closer to home in an environment equipped to support their needs.”

Atlanta’s sprawling suburban communities have been part of Regus’ growth plans. Recently, Regus opened in Duluth and Cumming. Regus has more than 25 locations within Georgia’s central business districts and suburbs and says the trend of flexible working and the demand from businesses of all sizes across all industries is only getting stronger.

“Technology has transformed how people work,” said Scott. “Work happens anywhere and everywhere. Our goal to ensure customers have access to space that will allow them to be innovative, collaborative and successful.”

Regus’ model provides entrepreneurs, small- to medium-sized businesses as well as international companies a range of options, including fully equipped offices and virtual offices as well as meeting rooms and membership to its drop-in business lounges. Terms are flexible allowing clients to choose the amount of space they use and the length of time they stay.

“Having this center close to home will help alleviate the stress of many professionals who are caught in Atlanta’s heavy traffic jams during peak hours. This will alleviate stress and improve the quality of life for many Decatur residents,” said Scott.
